Before using ROAS for a decision

300% = 3×

Each unit of ad spend has three units of attributed revenue. That is not three units of profit.

Before moving budget

Review channel revenue, spend variation and margins. Current ROAS does not guarantee the return on extra spend.

Questions before using this number

Does high ROAS mean high profit?

ROAS excludes product costs, fees and returns. Use gross margin to review the break-even threshold too.

What if revenue is zero?

With positive spend, ROAS is 0%. Spend as a share of revenue is unavailable because its denominator is zero.
